The High-Access Server

The Cisco AS5100 provides asynchronous modem dial-up services as a standalone system of CSU/DSUs, channel banks, 48 managed modems, and up to 48 access server ports all in a single chassis. This high degree of component integration in one chassis eliminates the incompatibility problems that are common with multi-box, multi-vendor installations, and increases the overall system reliability.
